Hi Friends:
In case you have not setup a custom Homepage for your computer, here is how to do it and have fun keeping up with all the topical news you want, WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR HOME PAGE.
Choose either iGoogle or a Yahoo account to design your homepage. It will require that you have a Google email account or Yahoo email account. Once that is done, you can add elements to build your homepage. These element are the XML post URLs for the news page or blog you want to see a piece of on your homepage.

for a Yahoo account here: Get Yahoo ID
Here is my example:
I chose iGoogle:
log in and hit the link on the top right labeled: New! Select theme | Add stuff » Now on the mid-left margin click this: Add feed or gadget enter the ATOM or XML post URL here and you will see it show up as part of your homepage when you backout. In my case, the URL for my Blog is: http://economic-tracks.blogspot.com/atom.xml Voila!
